NEW YEAR, NEW ME

Going back to school after Christmas break is rough for everyone, except those few new-year’s resolution people. One of those few is Dexter, the class clown. Dexter vowed to use more discernment when cracking jokes during class this year. His crude humor would often reward him with trips to the Principles office. To Dexter’s surprise, Principal Perry never disciplined him beyond a stern talking to.

As a Freshman, Dexter resorted to humor for his identity. He had a crush on Angie, but, who didn’t have a crush on her? She was the pretty, out-going, cheerleader that everyone couldn’t get enough of. During second period on Dexter’s first day back to school, Angie kept eyeing him. Dexter thought this was his time. Time to make a move now that Valentine’s Day was approaching. When Dexter approached Angie, she reacted in a way he will never forget. Dexter experienced female intimacy in the form of skin to skin contact for the first time in his life.

The last class of the day rolled around, P.E., and Dexter had so much to tell his best friend, Bruno. Bruno is a 14 year old, testosterone driven, horn dog. Ever since they were little, Bruno always favored a little more bass, less treble. As Angie walks by, she winks in the direction of Dexter and Bruno. As the cheerleaders begin stretching, Dexter catches Bruno in an trance. (Waka) Dexter precedes to smack his hand on the bleachers, acquiring Bruno’s attention, revealing Angie’s phone number that he had gotten earlier that day. This is shaping out to be Dexter’s year.
